They went with a shaker door in maple in a dove white color for the perimeter cabinets. To give a little contrast to the kitchen, they decided to do the island in a stained American Walnut color. To finish the new kitchen transformation, we installed a new Calgary quartz countertop and a Kaleidoscope gray 6” mosaic backsplash. This kitchen transformation turned out beautifully.

This kitchen remodeling project was a fun one. This kitchen was good sized but had a very awkward layout and flow. It was long and narrow but had great potential. The removal of two walls made room for a massive island with a prep sink and all the space needed for an efficient kitchen. The new cabinets were done in the Manhattan door from our Kitchen Solvers Classic Collection line. The island and dry bar were done in the Rocky River color while the perimeter cabinets were done in Cashew. For the new countertops, they went with the Torquay Cambria Quartz for the perimeter while the island was done in Berwyn. This two-toned look with a green island and dry bar along with the gorgeous split-faced range hood arch provided the pop needed to make this kitchen one for the books.

]]>This La Crosse, Wisconsin homeowner was unsatisfied with their current kitchen. It did not provide the storage and functional space that they needed, and they desired a brighter, more inviting space for entertaining. Their rolling island was a great temporary solution, but they had plenty of space for a large, spacious island that would provide them with lots of additional storage as well as almost double their counter space.
Kitchen Solvers of La Crosse got to work and tore out all the existing cabinetry to make room for new, taller cabinets. These new cabinets not only provide more storage but also make the room feel larger. A large island was added to the middle of the kitchen to provide plenty of storage, room for a new sink, and plenty of prep area. They also wanted a spot for barstools so family or guests could spend time with them while they cook.
Each part of this kitchen was carefully selected by the homeowner to fit their dreams. They went with a maple Portland door in Boulder from the Kitchen Solvers Classic Collection for their new cabinets. They added black hardware for a fresh, modern look. Beautiful quartz countertops in the color Viatera Aria compliment the fresh, bright cabinets perfectly. The grey flecking of the countertop pairs beautifully with the new Carbon backsplash that is hard to miss under the underlit upper cabinets. Finally, new luxury vinyl plank flooring ties the whole space together and this customer’s kitchen dreams came true right before their eyes.

]]>This Onalaska, Wisconsin homeowner felt restricted and closed off from the rest of their house in their existing kitchen. It was too small and did not have enough functional storage space for what they needed. Kitchen Solvers of La Crosse met with them in their home to see what could be designed if they were to extend the kitchen into the living space. By knocking down 3 walls, they were able to create this new large, modern space that fit the homeowner’s needs much better. By removing the walls and soffits, there was now plenty of space for floor-to-ceiling cabinets around the perimeter including a large pantry on the left side of the fireplace with tons of functional storage for food and small appliances—something they were definitely lacking before. Opening up the kitchen made room for a large kitchen island with space to cook as well as entertain guests.
With a much more functional and inviting kitchen layout designed, the homeowner was excited to pick out the new look for their space. They chose a simple shaker door in white for the perimeter cabinetry and went with a warm bourbon stain on the island’s mission doors. All the cabinets were from the Kitchen Solvers Classic Collection. New cabinet and drawer pulls, a beautiful modern backsplash, a fresh new look for the fireplace, and all new appliances make this new kitchen everything the homeowner had dreamed of. Finishing touches like a new pendant light above the sink, underlit upper cabinets, and all new recessed lighting make this new kitchen bright, inviting, and an entertainer’s dream space. Thanks for trusting Kitchen Solvers of La Crosse to create the kitchen of your dreams!

]]>This West Salem, Wisconsin customer called Kitchen Solvers of La Crosse to help make their kitchen more functional for them. As an avid baker, their current kitchen simply was not working for them. The single oven, electric stove, and minimal counter space made working around their kitchen difficult. Although the overall layout of the kitchen did not change much, installing a new double oven, a gas range and hood, and adding a few extra inches onto their island made a world of difference to the functionality of the space. They lost a little bit of storage on the left but gained it back by adding an island with storage on both sides. This creates ample room for small appliances and even less commonly used serve ware.
After the minor layout adjustments, it came time to design the new look for the kitchen. This homeowner chose cabinets from the Kitchen Solvers Classic Collection. They went with a Hickory Tescott door in the color Cashew. This light wood tone adds enough warmth to the space while keeping it fresh and airy still. Adding a white subway tile counter to ceiling backsplash in a 4×8” Skybridge off-white makes the backdrop of the kitchen nice and crisp and makes the new range hood the focal point of the back wall. The new quartz countertop in Indian Pearl continues to brighten up the space and the darker tones in it compliment the black stainless-steel appliances and cabinet hardware perfectly. Now this baker has the kitchen of their dreams thanks to Kitchen Solver of La Crosse.
